DIAMOND
Oval and rimless frames. Glasses with strong brow lines Tip: Don’t draw unnecessary attention to your narrow eye line

ROUND
Square or strong, angular frame shapes Tip: Frames that are wider than they are tall give the illusion of a slimmer face

SQUARE
Round or oval eyeglasses. Dark or bold- colored frames Tip: Don’t give your face too many angles

OVAL
Any style - square or round frame shapes. Dark or light- colored frames Tip: Don’t choose frames too large for facial features
There are two main face shapes: Rounded and Angular. These can be further divided to Oval, Round, Square and Diamond. Look at your chin below the jawline to identify the proper face shape.
TIPS
- To give balance and proportion, the frame shape should contrast your face shape. Choose angular or square shapes for round faces and rounded shapes for angular faces.
- IF YOU HAVE A SHORT FACE, less chunky, thin frames with limited decorations, will make the face appear longer
- IF YOU HAVE A LONG FACE, frames with a centered, thicker profile will make the face appear short.

Green Lens
This combined colour provides accurate colours and improved contrast. This colour will reduce eyestrain in bright light. A typical multi-use colour for everyday wear.

Brown & Amber Lens
Provides contrast and minimalizes eyestrain. Best for high glare sports. Excellent choice for driving because the lenses lessen the glare of dirty windshields, smog and haze. May cause greens to appear greener.

Grey
This neutral tone provides true perception and low colour distortion. This is a general-purpose colour that does not enhance contrast. It works best when true colours are important. Recommended for outdoor occupations.
Sunglasses lenses do not always block harmful UV rays. Protection against UV light is related to the filter and the lens material you choose. There is a variety of combinations, however, the three main lens tints are green, grey and brown. You can determine the best lens for you from the conditions that you will be wearing them in.
TIPS
- GREY - TRUE COLOUR, OUTDOORS, CRISP CLEAN IMAGE.
- BROWN - HIGH GLARE ENVIRONMENTS, ENHANCED CONTRAST, DRIVING
- GREEN - MULTI-USE, ACURATE COLOURS EVERYDAY WEAR

Determining your skin tone is one of the most important factors to consider when selecting frame colours. It is important to select an eyeglass colour complementary to your natural tone; otherwise, the color combination can create a flat look. Typically, your frames should add an extra dimension to your look, either by contrasting your shade with a lighter or darker one or by complementing your undertone with a more saturated hue.
Skin tones tend to fall into two primary categories: warm and cool. Warmer skin tones tend to have yellow or green undertones to their skin, while cooler skin tones tend to have more of a blue or pink undertone. Some people fall into both categories, in which case they can base their decisions off their eye or hair color.
TIPS
- WARM COLOUR TONES, tend to do well with similarly warm colors, including shades of beige, brown, gold, pink, orange, off-white, red, yellow and green.
- COOL COLOUR TONES, mix well with cool shades, such as black, gray, pinks, blues and purples. Tortoiseshell works for well with both color palettes.
